When the fine folks at The Main Event needed images to promote their wedding and reception venues they cme to Dupre' Photography. I was honored to provide photographs for their website to show event images from Behannon's and The Lodge.

December 2009: Record Year for Dupre' Photography

2009 has been my busiest year ever. I ended the year with 24 weddings. It was wonderful to be a part of so many "joining of hands" and capture memories and emotions as they unfolded. The challenge for me was to keep it fresh for each wedding. I focused on making every wedding unique and responded to the personalities of the bride and groom and the environment they created. I feel very blessed for this successful year and have decided to maintain my current pricing for 2010. Thanks to all the beautiful brides that chose Dupre' Photography.

Oct. / Nov. 2009; Cover Photo of Charm Magazine

The great folks at Charm magazine asked to use several of my wedding pictures in their Oct. / Nov., 2009 issue. I was honored to have a portrait of Penny Ippolito featured on the cover. The issue also included my images in the "It's All About the Dress," "Floral Chic," and "With This Ring" articles. I worked directly with Denise Hoepfner and Sharon Henderson to meet their photography requirements. The magazine was well received and widely distributed. It was fun for me to see a copy on the news stand in Starbucks.

Fall 2009; Adobe Releases Lightroom 3.0 Beta

I always get excited about a new release of Adobe PhotoShop Lightroom. I have used Lightroom from the very beginning when it was first introduced by Adobe in beta version back in 2006. I have been a huge fan every since. Lightroom is the main software I use for photo editing and for cataloging thousands of pictures each year. Although I still use PhotoShop CS4 for advanced enhancements, I love using Lightroom for initial editing.
